MAHADUL ULOOM AL-ISLAMIA MADRASAH’ is a prominent N.G.O. in RATUA P.S.

area of MALDA district working since 1995. It is a PUBLIC CHARITABLE TRUST, Non-

Profitable, Non-Communal, Non-Political, Islamic oriented TRUST for the benefit of

people run by the Muslim Minority community.

EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION: –

• This N.G.O. is administrating a Co-Educational Madrasah since 1995, now upgraded up to Higher Secondary (HS) Level. It has Pre-Primary, Primary, Upper- Primary, Secondary and Higher Secondary stratum. The name of the Institution is ‘MAHADUL ULOOM AL-ISLAMIA MAKAIYA’. The Madrasah follows the curriculum and Syllabus of the Senior Madrasah course of W. B. BOARD OF MADRASAH EDUCATION, scheduled by the GOVT OF WEST BENGAL. But till now it can not avail the recognition of that Board. The N.G.O. will apply very soon to avail the recognition from that Board.
• It has separate Boys and Girls Hostel buildings and Ground, rounded by the boundary wall. The class rooms are pacca double thatched by Tin and Tali (Tile), Tin thatched office rooms, Teachers common room and Teachers boarding rooms.
• In a decisive important meeting of the Board of Trustees of MAHADUL ULOOM AL-ISLAMIA MADRASAH on 31/03/2017 at 3 P.M. resolve the decision to separate the GIRLS section, named ‘JAMIA AYESHA SIDDIQA MAKAIYA’ to run it smoothly.
• Now, the Managing Committee of the Trust of MAHADUL ULOOM AL-ISLAMIA MADRASAH is running and administrating the both Institutions. [Total Boys Students strength up to 31^st December, 2023 is Total= 818 [TOTAL BOYS STUDENTS: = 203. (General- 193 and Yateem- 10) and TOTAL GIRLS STUDENTS: = 615.(General = 575 and Yateema= 40)].
• Independence & Republic Days are celebrated here in every year by the Students with M/C.
• Educational functions are arranged once or twice time in a year for the promotion of knowledge of students in this Institution and also prizes are distributed in these functions to meritorious students.
• This institution has a reference library and a book bank for the benefit of the Teachers & Students.
• Many dignitaries mainly MLAs, BDOs, Savapati of Panchayat Samity, Prodhan of GPs and Social Activist are visited this Institution in every year and attended in its various functions.
• A Mosque is established in its premises for the prayer of Muslim students & public.
